The 4 BEST Kettlebell Exercises To Include in your training
Let's face it there are 3 main components that most people around the globe want today and thats to:
- Build lean muscle
- Burn Fat
- Be happy
Building strength, stamina and burning fat doesn't have to be complicated.
Yes it can be challenging but if you're consistent and are prepared to put the time in and progress your workouts so that they are always challenging and pushing you then you will be just fine.
I have put together 5 of my favourite exercises for busy men & women who want to build a strong, lean and fitter body.
1. Kettlebell Swing
If your main objective is fat loss then the kettlebell swing should be your go to exercise.
Just this one exercise alone targets 600 muscles and is metabolically demanding which means more calories burnt even when the workout has finished.
The kettlebell swing predominantly works into the back of the body especially the bum, hamstrings, hips, core and back.
You will get some conditioning through the quads but not as much as with squats or lunges, great for women because it doesn’t bulk up the legs.
The bonus here is that you DO NOT need to move from the spot to feel like you just sprinted 100 metres.
The kettlebell swing is like super cardio. Just 30 - 60 seconds is all it takes for your heart and lungs to be taxed.
2) Kettlebell Squats
if you're looking for a powerful way to boost your overall fitness and see some serious results -- fast -- from your workout routine, then the squat is considered one of the best workouts to develop muscle and gain more strength.
This is one exercise that should be a part of virtually everyone's routine, as it's relatively simple to perform, requires no equipment, and can be done just about anywhere.
More importantly, although squats are often regarded as "leg" exercises, they actually offer benefits throughout your entire body, including deep within your core…
The benefits of squats include:
- Helps build muscle in the entire body
- Improves balance and mobility
- Improves Flexibility

For anyone who wants to develop overall body strength, promote shoulder health, enhance fitness, improve core conditioning and functionality, then the Turkish Get Up is a big fully body exercise that not only works deep into your core muscles but also improves your joint mobility too
Although it as an old ancient exercise, it is used in the present day as part of elite athletes training programs.
I highly recommend you invest time into the Get Up, your body will thank you for it.
4) Kettlebell Snatches
Alongside the Kettlebell swing the Kettlebell snatch has to be 'THE' king of the kettlebell exercises.
The kettlebell snatch is a tremendous lift for core strength, leg power, hip strength, and shoulder strength.
With all of this it is also a tremendously powerful exercise for helping you to develop the cardiovascular conditioning of a race horse!
This lift is incredible for helping you to develop muscular and cardiovascular endurance while training the muscles of the posterior chain (hips, glutes, back, shoulders, hamstrings).
In my opinion if you want to develop a dominant cardio workout, the ability to run somewhere fast, and create a leaner, firmer body shape then the kettlebell snatch lift is for you.

They will help you build a stronger, fitter and firmer body shape
