Pimped Up 'Finger Lickin' Cajun Chicken
Everyone knows that cooking with herbs and spices makes food more flavourful, more varied and just delicious.
Here is a prime example:
This Cajun seasoning recipe makes about 6 tablespoons, so you can double it or triple it depending on how much you want to make.
Here's what you need:
1.5 tbsp paprika 1.5 tbsp garlic powder 1/2 tbsp onion powder 1/2 tbsp black pepper 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp dried basil 1-2 tsp salt (to taste)
To make the Pimped Up Cajun Chicken:
You need one bowl with a beaten egg
And one bowl with ground almonds (empty the whole bag of almonds) and add 2 tablespoons of the Cajun seasoning (or to your liking) to the almonds.
Get your chicken thigh/leg, dip in the egg and then take out and roll in the ground almond mix, place on tray and repeat with the rest of your chicken legs and thighs.
Pop them into a pre-heated (180) oven for about 30 minutes or so.
Voila Pimped Up Cajun Chicken JB style
Finger licking goooood
