The Health System Wasn't Built to Make You Healthy (And Deep Down... You know It)

Let’s not tip toe around it.


If the current health system was designed to make people healthier…

>> We wouldn’t have people exhausted 24/7

>> We wouldn’t have a new diet trend every 5 minutes


But here we are.


Sicker.

Go back 100+ years.


Life wasn’t perfect, but it was simpler.


People:


– ate real food

– moved daily without calling it “exercise”

– slept properly

Figures like the Rockefeller family funded major changes in how medicine was taught and practised.

Not long-term behaviour change.


Because you can’t build billion-pound industries around:


– walking more

– sleeping better

– eating real food

– managing stress


There’s no subscription model for sunlight.


The System You’re Living In Now


Fast forward to today.


Look around.


You’re surrounded by:


Food engineered to be addictive


Bright packaging. Perfect taste. Zero satisfaction.



A lifestyle that keeps you burnt out


Long hours. Screens. Stress. No off switch.


A “health” system that steps in when things go wrong


Not before.


And Then… They Blame You


This is where it gets twisted.


You’re told:


“You just need more discipline”

“Eat less, move more”

“Track everything”

“Start again Monday”


Meanwhile your environment is designed to trip you up every single day.


Kids.

Work.

Stress.

Lack of time.

Constant noise.


And you’re expected to be a robot with perfect habits?


Behave.


This Isn’t a Health System


Let’s call it what it is.


It’s a symptom management system


It reacts.


It doesn’t prevent.


It manages problems once they exist.


Because that’s where the money is.


Not in fixing you.


In keeping you coming back.


So What Do You Do? (This Is Where Most People Stay Stuck)


You’ve got two choices:


1. Stay in the loop


Keep chasing:


the next diet

the next plan

the next “quick fix”


Reset. Fail. Repeat.


2. Step outside the game


This is where everything changes.


Not sexy.


Not complicated.


But it works.


How to Take Your Power Back


Start here:


1. Eat Like a Grown Adult


If your grandparents wouldn’t recognise it as food…


Question it.


Focus on:


protein

whole foods

simple meals


Not perfection. Just better choices more often.


2. Move Daily (Not Just “Train”)


Your body wasn’t built for:


sitting all day

smashing one gym session

then doing nothing


Walk more.

Move more.

Stay active.


Daily.



3. Sort Your Sleep Out


You can’t out-train exhaustion.


No sleep =


more cravings

worse decisions

zero energy


Fix this and everything else gets easier.


4. Reduce the Noise


You don’t need:


10 different diets

5 different apps

influencers shouting nonsense


You need:


👉 consistency


Boring works.


5. Take Responsibility (Without Blaming Yourself)


This is the balance most people miss.


It’s not your fault the environment is stacked against you.


But it is your responsibility to navigate it better.


Final Word


It's not you.


You’re just trying to get healthy in a world that makes it hard.


And until you realise that…


You’ll keep blaming yourself instead of fixing the real problem.
