MINDSET
3 PHASE ACTION PLAN
PHASE Three:
Putting together a plan
Over the last two phases:
- You have accepted responsibility, you know it's you and you alone that's going to make this happen.
- You have a WHY so strong its impenetrable
Now you need a plan.
And i'm going to give you a simple plan.
However simple does not always mean easy....
There is a great quote:
"I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, i'm telling you it's going to be worth it" ~ Art William
So a short term goal, let's say 6 weeks this is the plan to follow:
* Start exercising at least 20 minutes, 3 times per week
* Triple the amount of vegetables you currently eat
* Try and stick to single ingredient foods at least 80% of the time
* Drink lots of water
* Cut right down on booze (but still enjoy the odd glass or two)
* Set an ambitious goal ie: drop a dress size in 6 weeks
* Make sure you're held accountable to achieve this goal ie: enlist a VERY supportive friend or make yourself accountable to the KEBOfit community or even use me, I am the coach after all.
Bottom line: Anything you truly long for in life is worth fighting for. Your dreams are worth it. Your goals are worth it.
Most importantly you are worth it. Wanting to have a body that is strong and lean and makes you proud is worth it.
Temporarily giving up some of your favourite foods is worth it if you want to lose weight.
Getting up before everyone else is up to fit in your workout in, it's worth it.
Learning to put yourself first when you are used to taking care of everyone else, it's worth it.
I'm not telling you its easy.
If it was easy, everyone would be walking around with banging bodies and the gyms would be crowded at 5:30am.
But if you are struggling to get in shape, it needs to be a bigger priority, not a bigger wish.
You can change...
You will get the body you work for...
And it will be worth the effort and the sacrifice.
And guess what, it gets easier. You become the person that loves to exercise.
You become the person who prefers to eat wholesome real food.
You will be the person that puts in a training session on their holiday.
You will do all these things and love it!
When that happens, it will be okay to have a little chocolate or some crisps occasionally.
You have a choice in all of this.
